Q) What is the weekend format / structure?

A) There is a detailed outline of events/processes in both large and small groups that build on each other throughout the weekend, but no agenda is given to the participants in order to remove any and all specific expectations.

Q) What does the $250 cost represent?

A) Your $250 cost represents:

Two nights lodging in rooms with up to 4 men per room.  Food (3 meals Saturday, 2 meals Sunday),  and all participant materials.  Travel for experienced staff leaders.  Administrative costs for the Edge Venture organization.  Your tuition also funds scholarships for participants with financial need.

Q) I can't afford the cost, is there any financial assistance available?
 
A) Yes, there are several options for financial assistance including payment plans, and scholarship money.  Edge Venture leaders want all men to experience God's rich healing.  Each case is looked at individually so please contact us either by email or phone on the information page located HERE

Q) Are you supported by a particular church?

A) Edge Venture is a self-governed not-for-profit organization.  We are supported in prayer and endorsements by several church bodies and individuals alike-minded in the Body of Christ.  For what we believe click HERE.


Q)  Why should I go on this weekend?
 
A)  You should attend if you are a man who cannot move forward in God's plan for your life due to issues such as:
  • Not being able to let go of the past
  • Failed relationships
  • Lack of deep relationships
  • Living with anxiety or shame
Q) Is counseling provided? If so, what type?

A) Professional counseling is not provided, and this weekend should not be considered counseling.

Q) What will I need to bring to the weekend?

A) You will need to bring sleeping bag/ bedding, personal items and both indoor/outdoor clothes appropriate for the time of year of your weekend in Michigan.  You will NOT be allowed to bring your watch, cell phone or any other communication/ electronic device that may distract you from receiving God's Grace and Truth.

Q) Am I able to leave the site during the weekend?

A) In the event of an emergency, you will be allowed to leave the site during the weekend.  If you choose to leave for any other reason, you will not be allowed to return.
